Franklin – Leading
Orangery and Conservatory Supplier
Franklin was started in 1975 when Bob Franklin began
his career in the joinery industry working with timber
windows. Over the years other various materials have
come and gone in popularity but of late, there has been
a big swing back towards traditional timber products
(ideally with a durable exterior), especially on the
more traditional property and country home.
Franklin has pioneered and patented a roof and frame
that is a stunning light hardwood inside the Conservatory
or Orangery and durable painted aluminium on the outside.
Aluminum is easily maintained and is almost unaffected
by the weather. Wood, on the other hand, requires regular
stripping and varnishing to protect from the wind and
rain. Franklin's solution is a wood and aluminum conservatory:
aluminum on the outside and a choice of timber on the
inside. Available in any colour and with a baked on finish
giving a guarantee of up to 25 years.
Imagine a stunning Orangery gracing your home that will
not rot and never needs painting. Unlike some other companies
Franklin will look after the planning and building control
parts of all work, liasing with the local authority,
and then looking after the full build and installation.
Heating, ventilation and finishes are all taken care
of allowing you to simply sit back and enjoy the ambience
of your new favourite room
Each conservatory or orangery can be made of either
wood or aluminum and wood composite.
