Before providing a price guide we must first make some important points:
Our prices relate to PVCu only. While many of the suppliers featured on these pages do also offer Hardwood and Aluminium conservatories the price variations
especially for "bespoke - made to measure" designs, can be considerable. As a very "rough" indication (and we don't like being rough!) hardwood conservatories can easily cost 30 - 50% more than PVCu for bespoke designs.
Prices are based on our experiences dealing with PVCu conservatory suppliers in mainland UK only. Sorry North America, Ireland, Mainland Europe and rest of world!
All guide prices are for supply and fit and include VAT. We have assumed a fairly straight forward site that's flat and easily accessible.
This is a price guide - feel free to use it - but please do not hold us to it.

To assist in comparing prices and because of the many different specifications we have decided to split the varying specifications into three categories as follows:
Bronze Specification
Silver Specification
Gold Specification
Assumes a reasonable quality PVCu frame extrusion along with standard double glazing and 16 mm polycarbonate in the roof.
Assumes a top quality PVCu frame fitted with superior locking and security features, Pilkington K (Low E) double glazing and 25 mm polycarbonate in the roof. A conservatory for all year use.
Assumes a top quality PVCu frame fitted with superior locking and security features, Pilkington K (Low E) double glazing in both side frames and roof. The frames may also be fully reinforced and / or connected by structural mullions. Equal site line may also be an option with this specification along with perhaps "suncool" or "anti sun" glass. Truly a conservatory for all year use.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Arguably we could have allowed for more than the three specifications quoted above. For instance we could have had a BRONZE
- PLUS specification, which had either 25 mm polycarbonate in the roof or K glass in the side. (Not both as in the Silver specification.) Something like that would cost towards the high end of the Bronze price band and the low end of the Silver price band. Additionally a SILVER
- PLUS specification could be a conservatory with a glass roof and K glass in all glazing but perhaps without the "equal site line" or range of other glazing alternatives. Again you could expect to pay somewhere between the Silver and Gold prices.
Disclaimer
We repeat - the above is just a price guide. There will be suppliers who will look at these prices and claim that we have over stated the costs while there will also be suppliers who will claim we have not quoted enough. The SECRET - if there is one - is to try as best possible to compare like with like. That is not so difficult to do when comparing product specification alone. It does however become somewhat more difficult to compare the individual calibre of the companies - especially if things such as financial stability and length of time in business are considered.
Two final thoughts:
It's always best to pay a little more to have a trouble
- free quality installation and a reliable guarantee.
Buyer Beware - If an offer seems almost too good to be true - then it almost certainly is!
