Warm-a-Glass™ construction uses Pilkington K low emissivity coated glass with integral dual sealed thermally broken spacer bar to create thermally efficient double glazing units. The unique design of the spacer and the material used reduces the hot or cold temperatures from transferring to the inside. Typical U-values (Wm2K) of 1.7 or 1.4 when argon filled is achieved.

Highly effective Pilkington K low emissivity glass (emissivity less than 0.2)
Pilkington K Low emissivity coating allows the free shortwave energy from the sun to enter the building, but acts as a barrier to the escape of expensive longwave energy from internal heat sources
Unique spacer bar works like a thermal break decreasing the thermal transfer from outside air to the inside of the room and alters the condition in which condensation normally occurs thus reducing significantly the occurence of moisture forming on the glass
Warm-a-Glass™ provides excellent thermal insulation characteristics by reducing heat loss by 30% over ordinary double glazing
Warm-a-Glass™ can be combined with solar glass to offer full environmental control solutions
Insulating units incorporating Warm-a-Glass™ are as efficient as triple glazing and can achieve U values of 1.5W/m²K
Warm-a-Glass™ can be combined with solar control glasses to offer full environmental control solutions
Neutral colour in transmission and reflection
Larger windows can be specified in domestic and commercial
Spacer bars available in 3 colours - gold, bronze and silver
